Assistance on the Field Course needed

The work required to make the trees on the field course safe has now been completed and mother nature has been busy growing plant life during our absence on the course. To that end, we are in need of some budding volunteers to assist with some groundwork and clearance activities to make the course and targets accessible for use again. Tournament Successes Continue!

A weekend of competing and preparing to compete for many of our members has meant a busy time for many. With Grace flying out to Sardinia to compete in the European Para Archery Cup, Lucy & James at the Masters in Lilleshall and many others at the Cleve & Minchinhampton Tournaments you would have thought practice sessions would have been quiet, but that was not the case. So much going on it is difficult to find the time to report!

Even with our army of volunteers it has been difficult to find the time to report on what we are doing and of course achieving, this is always a busy period but this year it has been even more hectic! Here are just a few highlights. Primary School Games hit new high! Next week sees the last of the District Level 2 Finals taking place in the Forest of Dean and that will determine the teams competing in the County finals at Hartpury College later in June. 125 Primary Schools with teams of 9…

The latest of our L1 Courses has just finished and our congratulations go to all 12 of the successful candidates and especially to the 4 from Deer Park! Mid-week Record Status Stafford is raging success!

Whilst places were limited, as we decided to go with a single detail as the event was run on a Wednesday evening, all places were filled within 24 hours of advertising it.  The event ran smoothly and there were 2 British Records and 12 County records shot by our archers!
