Compound cadet Grace qualified in fourth spot then swept past Czech Petra Zikmundova of 140-130 and Estonian top seed Meeri-Marita Paas 144-142, who had defeated another GB archer Sinead Byrne. A bitter sweet day!

We are sad to report that sometime between 10:30pm and 7:30am on Tuesday night 3 of our buildings were broken into and a further 2 damaged in attempts to do so. In total 5 doors were seriously damaged, inside every cabinet, cupboard and sets of draws were wrecked to gain entry. Also 6 security lights smashed. The perpetrators then saw fit to empty all the contents around the building in a mindless activity, steal 3 priceless trophies yet worthless outside of the club, take 3 Club…

Lucy, Phoebe and Ella win more medals for GB in Dubai and Bucharest!

Britain’s para athletes will be bringing three gold medals and one silver back from the 5th Fazza Para Archery world ranking tournament in Dubai. They topped the medal standings and came so close to adding more. Our third gold came courtesy of compound mixed team Nathan Macqueen and our own Phoebe Pine. They saw off Japan 142-134 and India in a shoot-off and faced Italy in the title match. They were in top form – and it showed as the Italians were emphatically beaten 146-132. Gold…

Over the past few weeks there have been so many good things happening, so much hard work gone into all these results and such a great membership to enjoy! In summary (no particular order): 2 new Judges, 2 new L1 Coaches, 2 more members signed up for next L1 Course! 1 started a Level 2 Coaching Course.
