£100,000 grant awarded to county archery club by the Gloucestershire Environmental Trust.

We have received a £100,000 grant to support the development of a Clubhouse and Education Centre at our grounds in Shurdington.   The funding, provided by the Landfill Communities Fund and awarded by the Gloucestershire Environmental Trust is a boost to the amazing fundraising undertaken by the Club’s 270 members and in addition to grants received from other organisations including the Worshipful Company of Fletchers & the Summerfield Trust.   The money will facilitate the…

Milestone Achieved!

Biggest Tournament so far is a great success! Our World Record Status WA720 & H2H with 26 bosses was a great success and now paves the way for even larger events. Great archers, fantastic weather and a great location all brought together by our fantastic volunteer workforce. Busy times on all fronts!

Sunday saw us host the Gloucestershire V Worcestershire Match with 14 of the 25 from Deer Park! On the Friday a big turnout at the Junior Session where they attempted 252 challenges. A new Junior 252 will be launched after this weekend! Saturday saw our biggest open community session so far.
