Early activities include a Laser Tag evening (22nd March), Sponsored Swimmarathon (14th April), Horse Racing Evening (27th April), Sponsored Zumbathon, Mr Mulligans Golf Tournament, Swindon Greyhound racing evening, Samba Band evening (learn to play and then perform!), attending several major fetes, larger open community have-a-go programme, Snowman Drive, Pizza evening, BBQ, Sponsored ½ Marathon and a major club raffle to be drawn during the Club Annual Awards evening.
Records Tumble!
The last few weeks have not only seen members break UK, European and World Records but also practice session attendances (increased in 3 of our 5 venues), tournament entries ( 3 fully booked) and membership level records (higher at this point than any previous year and 3 beginners courses to complete next week!)! Attendances at club run workshops have also seen a sharp rise (more sessions and more attendance) as has our waiting list to attend open community have-a-go sessions (list literally growing by the day).
