As our archers gathered at an additional practice session early on Friday evening organised to support last minute preparations for Saturdays British Championship, news filtered through that 6, yes 6 of our juniors had been selected to join the GB Compound Squad!
Our congratulations go to Lucy Mason & Beckie Hutchings who are already established members but are now joined by James Howse, James Lawton, Ben Humphries and Connie Healey!

They are all part of the Deer Park Archers Academy which has a number of other excellent juniors that will soon challenge them! Credit must go to the coaching team at the club led by Steph & Dan Gill and to the way the Club supports all its members in reaching their full potential.

Well over 30 of our juniors are competing over the weekend at the Ricoh Arena, many of them travelling up on the team coach. We hope that they can all have a good shoot and continue to establish good technique and work on their areas for development.
