County Junior Squad (10am – 4pm) on Saturday 19th at Balcarras is postponed. New date to be arranged.
Sorry the Deer Park Archers (Saturday evening & Sunday morning) practice sessions are cancelled. School is closed, local roads very difficult and car parking area not cleared.
Archery GB November Challenge – Fantastic Results!
30 of our juniors entered & 16 of them won Salvers by finishing in top 3 places!
Within those entries are some great achievements, Chloe A’Bear just 7 years old finished 2nd in the Girls under 12 BB. Austin Whitmarsh finished 4th out of 58 entries and he is 9 years old! Harry Faulkner (7) has overcome many challenges to finish 32nd out of 58. Fin Cummins age just 9 won the under 12 compound and at the time of recording the score had only been shooting for 5 months! Riley Spencer-Nice (7) finished 2nd in the boys under 12’s and Holly Clifford 2nd in the girls under 12 compound.

We have entered a large number of juniors in the individual categories, too many to list and the good news is that they are all doing very well!

The trial sessions worked very well and will continue on a random basis, mainly at the Saturday/Sunday Balcarras Sessions.
Bourneside After-School Club
Thank you to Alexander, Will, Hamish & Lucy for helping at the after-school club on Thursday, it was the first session in another Sportivate Programme. All of them are members of the school and the club, Bourneside are going to have a really strong team for the Level 3 School Games! Cleve, Balcarras, KLB & Archway after-school clubs are also showing great promise!
