Club New Year’s Day Portsmouth
Fully booked but a few unwell and certainly a few shooting that showed signs of the previous evening!
Most of the participants from our New Years Day Shoot.
As you will see from the photos everyone enjoyed the shoot and there were a number of personal bests including Millie (560) & Chloe (553), who both continue to improve at a rapid rate, Ella 546) & Rosie (425) (both only shooting compound for a few weeks) did really well and of course got PB’s as it was their first round!

In the recurve section I think there were Pb’s for both Alex Parker & Paige Tucker.

In the compound it was great to see James Lawton back on vacation from University shooting and also to see Steve Mason shooting, after no doing so for almost 12 months and recording a more than respectable score (396) in the longbow section.

Level 1 Coaching Courses
This afternoon we are holding a Level 1 Coaching Couse Workshop for candidates and mentors from our course that finished last month in preparation for their assessment day on the 15th January.
Next weekend (8th January) sees the start of another of our Level 1 Coaching Courses with the second day following quickly on the 22nd January.
Beginners Courses
Another series of group beginners courses is about to start.
The two Monday evening courses (6:30 & 7:45) start on the 9th January and cost just £35, there are a few places left on those Courses. Contact Steph Gill at stephgill87@gmail.com if you want further information.
