Club recognised with 2 more National awards!

We are pleased to announce that we have received the 2013 Archery GB Ontarget ‘Innovation in Archery’ Award for the second time in 3 years!

It recognizes our work in the community and in particular our innovative use of ‘Adapted Arrows Equipment’ and the creation of our ‘Bambies’ section for 5 -7 year old archers! We also introduced the use of ‘Arrows’ kit into the Primary School Games resulting in a surge of interest in our sport, in participation, coaching & volunteering!

Ciaran is now studying at Cambridge University but as soon as he returns home he immediately gets involved in our community work and club practice sessions!

We would like to thank Archery GB for this recognition and feel that the awards symbolize exactly what our club is all about!

We took the opportunity of Archery GB visiting the Club to ask Arran Coggan to present the 5 GWAS Postal League Team Winners Shields (we won all 5 this year!) to representatives of those teams.
