We sent a strong team of 24 archers to the Grand Western Regional Championships on Sunday and finished the day with 10 Golds, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals! Add to this 15 Personal Bests and 2 County Records and it adds up to a good day!

The ‘icing on the cake’ was winning both the Junior & Senior team Competitions!
Members recorded 15 PB’s
Our Regional Champions are: Holly Clifford, Will Kurze, Connie Healey, Lucy Mason, James Howse, Hamish Ponton, Rachel Lucas, Josh Uzzel, Luke Brear & Lynn Benfield.
John Craigie just missed out on a Regional Title winning silver and Tom Howse, Dave Sandles & Christine Anderton won bronze.
The one disappointment was Simon sustaining an injury part the way through the competition and having to drop out.

On the Saturday we had a few members at the Irish Open Indoor Championships 2014, University of Limerick and our congratulations go to Fin Cummins who won a silver medal in the Junior Compound category and to Hannah Deasy who was placed 4th in the Junior Ladies Compound and Nicole Deasy who shot Barebow on a FITA 18 3 Spot and finished 6th in the Recurve category.
