Exciting Weekend for Chloe & Katherine

Photography Masterclass with World Acclaimed Photographer Dean Alberga

Congratulations to Chloe Tucker who will be attending this workshop. Chloe is no stranger to big events, last year she was invited to Google HQ in London with 11 others selected from a competition organised by Google and Well Versed with a well known You Tube Video Blogger called KickthePJ. Chloe’s submission became part of a video on internet safety that was premiered during the visit! This week Chloe also begins the production of 2 short films for Deer Park, ‘The Emotions of Archery’ and ‘It’s Great to be a Bambie!’

Chloe will be doing the filming of our 2 videos.

Pass it On Course

This excellent Archery GB 1 day course is being hosted by ourselves at Balcarras School on Sunday February 22nd. It is aimed at helping coaches and volunteers and therefore clubs to work more effectively with those with disabilities.
The programme will still allow the club to meet on the Sunday morning and for the Inclusion Club to take place. Thanks to Dave Sandles (Pictured below) for organising this.
There are a few places left, if anyone who is already or aspires to become a coach would like to attend then please let us know.

Big weekend 30-31st May

We are looking to support the Archery GB Big Weekend by running some events at our new ground.
We are considering officially opening our new ground on the 31st May, therefore laying on more activities and inviting guests, press etc. Watch this space!

New junior club kit to be launched

Following consideration by Junior Representatives new junior kit has now been ordered from a different supplier. We will create a catalogue and add a kit page on the website. After lengthy consultation it has been decided to retain the existing logo on the new and exciting modern kit!

Great attendance at Practice Sessions Continues

Fantastic attendance at GL1 last Wednesday, it was great to see everyone practicing and that this included a good number from the last Beginners Courses.

Start of a busy evening.
