The finalist have been selected by a panel of judges and the winners will be announced at a glittering Gala Evening at Hatherley Manor Hotel on Thursday November 20th.
The great news is that our Club and our members have been shortlisted in 4 of the categories!
Our congratulations go to all the finalists:
Tom Howse who is one of three finalists in the Young Sports Personality of the Year. He joins Charlotte Russel (Tennis) and Daniella Gibson (Cricket). Since the original nomination Tom has now be confirmed on the ‘Talent Confirmation’ Programme!

Dave Sandles is again one of three nominated for Coach of the Year and joins Andy Addis (Rugby) and Martin Thomas (Water Polo).

Phoebe Pine is one of four finalists in the Disability Sports Performer of the Year along with Thomas Mellor(Tennis), Mel Nichols (Athletics) and Chloe Ball from Cleve Archers. Phoebe has also recently been awarded TASS funding to support her amazing development.

Our superb all conquering Compound Team have been nominated for the Junior Team of the Year Award and join teams from Gloucester Hartpury Junior Women’s Quadruple Sculls and Abbeymead Rovers Harriers.

This celebration of sport in Gloucestershire is a very special night and our members will share the evening with other finalists including Charlotte Dujardin and Zara Phillips nominated for the Equestrian Sports Person of the Year, Danielle Waterman & Natasha Hunt both England Rugby players, Pete Reed (Rowing) a double Olympic Champion and Vicky Holland (Triathlon) a double Commonwealth medal winner.
