Competition brings out the best!
Every second Sunday in the month will be a club target day, the first was a Portsmouth and all 32 places will filled! A mixture of new and old faces and the results reflected this! Firstly, great atmosphere, good refreshments and lots of support for those new to competition and the age of competitors spanned some 55 years!
Great attendance on the Saturday evening as well.
Full results can be see here but highlights were:
Ben Humphries recording top score on adult compound with 574, Lucy highest junior score with 570.
Sophie Cammack top scored, recording 524 on adult recurve in her first competition, Chloe Tucker was top junior with 467.
Barebow saw Dave Sandles as the top scoring adult with 523 and Rachel Lucas top scoring junior with 491.
Longbow saw Kevin Sutherland top score with 430.
For me the highlight of the day was the efficient way everyone pitched in to clear the hall, great team work and it makes life so much easier!
Next Club Target Day – Sunday 9th November with a Worcester in the morning and a Vegas in the afternoon!
