Our policy is to welcome ALL those interested in archery and wanting to complete a beginners course. It is not a problem if on completion of the course you intend to join another club who are not able to provide a course to suit your timescales or budget.
We run many beginners courses over the year with 12 participants on each. The cost will be £48 for the 6 weeks. All our 2021 group courses have been completed. To register your interest for the 2022 courses or for further information click here to submit your details and we will get in touch.

Can’t find a date that suits your timescales? We can arrange individual courses if you prefer.
As a club policy where juniors are involved, we encourage (we recognise that this may not happen in every case) at least one parent to also complete the course, they can then act as a buddy, support the junior in developing aspects of their technique that has been identified by a coach and be more than just a taxi driver. Likewise we like parents to get involved on the volunteering side!
We encourage all those looking to do a beginners course to ask questions, find out more about the coaches delivering the courses, previous joining rates, type of equipment (particularly poundage of bows, which ideally should be no more than 18lbs but ideally less), where appropriate is the equipment suitable for juniors, particular disabilities etc, coach to pupil ratio etc. And remember on successful completion of the course you should meet the requirements to join any Archery GB club!
We would encourage those completing the courses to be even more searching about which club is best for you. Visit several clubs, get a feel for that club, is right for you? Prepare a list of things you would like to see in a club and find out which club best meets your specification or is working towards it. How will you be looked after once you have joined?
If the timescales do not meet your requirements, or you would prefer more individual course then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit their website www.xperiencearchery.co.uk their coaches are our members and they cater for our overloads etc. You can have an individual course at times to suit you for as little as £150 for 2 people!
