Grand Western Postal League Success!

The organization of this event is a big task, so firstly thank you to GWAS and in particular Colin & Ann Holmes for all their hard work. Secondly a big thanks to Steph for organizing all our junior archers to ensure they recorded their scores each month. There is no doubt that with the club meeting at least 5 days a week throughout the winter season it helps our archers to do well.

Starting with the team results which is a great illustration of our strength in depth, 5 leagues, 5 wins and in the division we entered 2 teams we finished 1st & 2nd.

Also well done to Cheltenham & Cleve Archers for their successes which meant that Gloucestershire dominated most of the categories & is a testimony to the strength of the Archery in Schools Programmes and the County Squad Development Programmes!

Bambies/Arrows Programme is a winning formula!

Another Arrows programme over the Easter Holidays proved to be a great hit at the Cheltenham Leisure Centre and it was well supported by 7 Club volunteers. In addition to the usual target archery the clout and ‘Pringles’ Can Skittles proved to be very successful!

Lots of Volunteers!

Excellent Article in the echo

Following 2 sessions for Cheltenham Borough Council as part of their age 8 – 16 Holiday Programmes we had excellent coverage in the Gloucestershire Echo which recognized our ongoing support for these programmes.
