Club Work Day
So many jobs needed doing to prepare our ground for the winter and ensure it will be ready for the spring. An appeal for help to the members, some great weather and a long list of jobs to do. 8 hours later, jobs done, much bigger than anticipated support, troops very well fed and watered. These are the sort of days that highlight the benefits of ensuring we remain a Club, not just venues where we shoot! Great teamwork and lots of volunteers!
A big thank you to all those that supported us, we not only completed the list but we exceeded expectations!

Kingshill – Friday Evenings
Just the second session at our new venue, 36 shooting, now need more bosses to cope with the increasing numbers, beginners courses and improvers sessions running at Birdlip at the same time, over 50 attendees at the Friday Satellite after-school club.
Kingshill Sports Hall – We now have 5 great indoor venues!
Kingshill, Cirencester is already shaping up to be another great venue and at no extra cost to members!
Junior Squad Improvers Afternoon
General practice at BALCARRAS in the morning was followed 23 juniors, age 7 to 17, taking part in an improvers session in the afternoon.
Exhausted but happy at the end of another coaching session.
In addition to general coaching there was a particular focus on ‘shot routine’ balanced with a range of fun challenges, communications exercises and ice-breakers, developing a better understanding of equipment used and of course some team competitions.
Plenty of coaching support.
An excellent afternoon, some great entertainment and lots of fun.

Next Sunday afternoon will be given over to senior improvers. We are sure it will be just as much fun and very informative!
