Juniors are at the heart of our club. We have a large Junior membership and enable all Junior archers to participate to whatever degree they are want to, from recreational archery with the family up to preparation for national and international competition.
In addition to the usual club practice sessions, we offer regular Junior only sessions with expert coaching.

These are every Friday evening during the outdoor season at our ground in Shurdington and regular Sunday afternoons during the indoor season at Balcarras School.

In these sessions, the coaches work not just on archery skills but fitness, resilience and team-building that will help the young archers develop independence and support each other as they progress.

We also arrange Junior only social events to help them have fun and get to know each other better.

We have a skilled team of 2 Welfare Officers and 4 Safeguarding Officers to ensure we have a safe and supportive environment for all archers. We are also about to appoint 4 Mental Health First Aiders. Find out more at our safeguarding page.
We have Junior Representatives to the Committee who ensure that Junior Archers have a say in the future of the club and to help us to run the right activities in the right way at the right time.
