We are lucky to be able to use a range of different venues across the year with session timings differing between Summer and Winter.
We use our Club ground at Shurdington (directions) throughout the year for outdoor target, field and clout archery.
Our indoor venues include Balcarras and Kingshill Schools and at our own clubhouse/training centre.
One of our core principles is “to remain a club, not just a venue where people shoot” which means we DO NOT offer 24/7 shooting. All sessions are part of an organised programme which delivers constant coach support, enjoyment, variety and social interaction. We strive to ensure all visits are part of a great experience.
We have unparalleled success in supporting individuals from recreational to world class, we do accommodate additional needs for our international archers but still through programmed sessions.
Our managed programme and not 24/7 access may not be convenient for some, other clubs do offer that flexibility so please be aware of this fact when selecting the best club for you.

Club Practice – Summer (April to September)
All sessions are held at our ground. Please note evening session end times are dependent on light, weather and availability of coaches and/or field captains. Field course bookings generally also available at the same times.
Monday, Wednesday & Sunday mornings, also Thursday mornings for clout only (no compound bows to be used).
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings
Saturday afternoons
Junior only & Development sessions on Friday evenings.
Beginners and members development workshops Monday evenings.
Club Practice – Winter (October to March)
Monday, Wednesday and Sunday mornings: Outdoors/indoors at Deer Park Archers Ground
Tuesday & Wednesday evenings: Indoors in our club house at at Deer Park Archers Ground
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings: Outdoors using the covered shooting area under floodlights at Deer Park Archers Ground, most sessions 20m, selected 50m.
Saturday evenings and Sunday Mornings & random afternoons at Balcarras School Sports Hall.
Wedesday evenings at Kingshill School Sports Hall.
Friday evenings – junior only sessions, generally indoors.
Field Course remains open throughout the winter and course layout constantly updated.
