Having topped the medal table on the Saturday at the Senior Championships we made it a full house at the British Junior Indoor Championships on the Sunday.
7 Golds and 2 Silvers in the age group categories saw Deer Park top the overall standings.
Congratulations to parents & coaches of the following archers – Golds: Lily Wright, Lily Partridge. Louise Bassett, Ryan Faulkner, Jack Palmer, Sam Bowden and Grace Curran. – Silvers: Emily Summers & Harriet Beckinsale-Smith.
We also topped the overall bow type champions medal table!
The top 4 scores, regardless of age (up to 21 years old), for each bow type went into a Head to Head elimination round. Amazingly we had 4 archers qualify for those finals, all those won medals! Sam Bowden, competing in the Under 12 Category won silver in the Under 21 Category. Louise Bassett, competing in the Under 16 Category won Bronze in the Under 21’s. Shooting a 147 in a 15 arrow pass! Emily Summers won Silver in the U21 Barebow and Grace Curran won Silver in the U21 Longbow.
