We are pleased to announce that we are going to use facilities at the Old Patesians Sports and Social Club in Leckhampton for the summer of 2014.
We are committed to exploring the potential for developing a longer term relationship with Old Pats with the intension of establishing an archery club presence, working together to improve facilities and the way we could use the social amenities.
We look forward to working together on this exciting opportunity for both organisations.
The moving of equipment will commence on the 31st March with construction of the range the following weekend in a secure part of the grounds. A number of events (Competitions, Social, Have-a-goes & Courses) are being planned to establish our presence and demonstrate our commitment to this new venue.
This commitment does not conflict with our current effort to purchase our own ground which is making good progress and should go to the Planning Committee on April 1st.
We are also starting work in April with the High School for Girls in Gloucester and Active Gloucestershire with a view to establishing a funded satellite club later this year.
