All action over the last few days, the 90ft x 20ft base for the covered shooting area has been completed and the 400m run of trenches for the water connection is making excellent progress.

FITA18 Para Inclusion Tournament – Ready to go this Sunday
More than 80 archers competing, the event is being filmed, our thanks go to Cheltenham Film Studios, Active Gloucestershire, Worshipful Company of Fletchers, Wales Archery, Xperience Archery, Archery GB and Cheltenham Leisure @ Recreation Centre for all the sponsorship and help provided. We will do our best to make it another great day!
Building on last years event, which was a success.
GL1 Open Day
We are working with GL1 the Gloucester Leisure Centre to run an open day on Saturday 5th March. There will be lots of different activities to try, so why not take the family? The cost will be just £1, which will go to the Cancer Trust.
Archery will be represented from 2pm to 4pm, and will be in the main sports hall, that will be the real stuff plus Bambies/Arrows for the 5 – 8 year olds!
Why not combine a visit with the family? They can try archery and the other activities whilst you volunteer to help!
Those that enjoy it can then sign up for the weekly archery sessions at GL1 or at the club.
Supporting a similar ‘have-a-go.’ at GL1 a couple of years ago.
L1 Coaching Courses
We are arranging 2 Level 1 Coaching Courses in partnership with Active Gloucestershire to run this autumn.

2016 Round Table Swimathon
This year’s event is on the 2nd April. We are entering a team again this year to raise funds in support of the Round Table Charities and our own coach and archer development activities.
Jacob Gill (18 months old) will be part of the team and thank you to all the others taking part.

Members Survey
The results of a survey monkey pole on the club’s funding activities have been analysed and the results have been shared through an internal newsletter. The detailed results will be discussed at a Management Committee meeting.
