We have formed our own bowls section, we have 2 mats and all the equipment, open to members, friends, family and anyone interested in joining our club. No experience required just the desire to join our social group and learn a new skill!
Currently we meet every Thursday evening and most Sunday evenings in our Club House from 6:30pm, we pay £4 per session. .
Short Mat Bowls is open to non club members and woods can be provided. We have 2 lanes and always combine the activity with a social cuppa and biscuits. That part may be more difficult in the current situation. The current group are all over 50 but this is not by design, all ages are welcome! Ability is not a requirement for membership, training is part of what we do best!
In 2022 we purchased 2 much newer mats and can actually accommodate 3 on competition planned evenings.
