Division 3 Medalists

Some of our junior squad had recently been involved in a successful Club Laser Tag evening, so that was going to be hard to follow but this week’s Ninja Warriors evening more than lived up to it!

Some of our junior members giving their next challenge some consideration.
Taking the plunge!

From a Club perspective the team building value was excellent, a very physical challenge yes but that gave a big opportunity for participants to help each other around parts of the course. New friendships were made, new experiences tried and there were no injuries in the process!

A chance to demonstrate core strength and balance!
Different approaches, most fell off anyway!

On the same evening our short Mat bowls section was in full flow and the following morning our field course was being prepared for the final round of our mini winter league which has been a credit to all those that have worked so hard throughout the season.

Growing section of the club with new non shooting members.

At the same time our men-in-sheds group were putting finishing touches to our tournament control centre and making some new stands for our feathers to be used at Sunday’s Annual Inclusion Shoot.

All this happening and hardly a mention of shooting arrows, well in the last 5 days, there has been 10 sessions held in schools and youth clubs, 3 group beginners courses, 2 Improvers programmes and 6 standard club practice sessions!

At the time of posting this news we have just got back from setting up the range for the WA18 Record Status Inclusion Shoot. Amazing team of skilled volunteers set the range up in one hour, 3 years ago it took us all evening!
