Ella is the new Vegas champion, after a historic five-way shoot off in the Championship Compound Female division!
Ella finished runner-up in 2024 and placed 3rd in 2025 tournaments, but finally took the win she had been looking for.

“It feels incredible. Truthfully, I didn’t feel like I was as prepared coming into Vegas as I normally am. So I was trying to not be too hard on myself if I didn’t get the results I wanted. But I’m so glad that it all kind of came together.”
Ella has also been crowned 2025 Indoor Archery World Series Champion following standout performances across the circuit, culminating at the Las Vegas shoot.
Points towards this elite ranking were accrued at events in Lausanne, Luxembourg, Taipei, Rio, Nimes and Vegas.
Ella produced the most consistent performance in Vegas, shooting perfect 900s to qualify among a record five women in the shootdown at the Planet Hollywood Theatre and clinching her first Vegas title!

Coaching Workshop – Zones of regulation in sport.
More than 20 members attended an excellent workshop led by an external speaker. This workshop is part of a wider initiative to support the development of coaching within the club.
A very productive few hours of input and inter-active discussion.
Environmental Stewardship
We have added to our range of bird/bat boxes and insect hotels, all made from recycled wood with an approved design of butterfly boxes. A big thank you to Roger Topps for his carpentry skills and to Freya for providing the amazing hand painted decoration to the butterfly boxes!

Until recently the men-in-sheds trophy making skills have been applied to fairly standard designs however as confidence grows so does the creativity! Below is one of the trophies made for the Western & Welsh Counties Tournament.
