Cancellations
The late call off, due to bad weather, for the Shurdington session on the 22nd turned out to be a good call, sorry for any inconvenience caused. The van had arrived at Shurdington in heavy snow and the weather warning of significant snow forced a late decision.
We are afraid that we have had to cancel the Kingshill (23rd) & Hatherley & Reddings (24th) practice sessions, however;
Another busy weekend for the club, fingers crossed that the weather is kinder to us!
Friday 25th January – Ten Pin Bowling – Barnwood – Gloucester
Need to be there for 7:15 to get shoes and lane allocated, starts at 7:30. £9 Payment on night please. 30 already booked places, if you want to add your names, please contact Mel asap. If you have registered and can no longer make it, then please let Mel know or we will expect you to pay.
Saturday 26th January
Drills & Skills Session @ Balcarras starting 5pm
General Practice Session starts at 6:30pm – get there on time if you want to complete a Portsmouth for the Archery GB January Challenge.
Sunday 27th January
9am – Nutrition & Hydration Workshop
If you want to be added to the list of attendees then talk to Steph
10am to 1pm – Open Practice session. Again get there on time if you want to do a Portsmouth Round. We have to finish at 1pm.
1pm – 4pm – Development Centre Junior Coaching Programme
Invite only, you should have arranged a time slot with your allocated coach.

Looks like we will be having some good coverage in the local press (Echo, Glos & Wilts Standard, Citizen etc.) highlighting some of our recent achievements and mentioning some of our initiatives for 2013. Keep an eye out for reports.
Old Equipment Appeal
We are about to launch an appeal to past and current members to check out what equipment they no longer use (arrows, bow stands, bows, limbs etc) and to either donate it to the club or sell us it at a preferential price. It will either be used to help at practice sessions or to help members that would benefit from a loaning.
