This is an open competition, open to any member of ArcheryGB. Course changes every time, mixture World Archery Field Faces and 3D targets, marked and unmarked, suitable for all abilities and ages.

Throughout the summer we have been improving the field course layout and installing numerous eco friendly features to improve our environment.
Senior National Rankings for longbows and barebows announced.
Well done to Kevin Macey (5th) and Graham Peters (25th) in the Gents Longbow from a list of over 150 qualified. Likewise to Lynne Benfield (20th) in the Ladies Longbow and Rob Lygoe (7th) in the Gents Barebow. Great performance by Emily Summers, a junior qualifying (59th) in the Ladies barebow.
Congratulations to Steph Gill – shortlisted for the UKCoaching Award for Talent Development Coach of the Year.
Fantastic news in that 2 of the 3 finalists are from archery, well done and good luck also for Vlada Priestman!

Solar Panel Contract signed this week.
The contract to install 66 solar edge panels on the covered shooting area has been signed this week. Over the next month the installation will be completed, 3 phase electricity supply installed and the remainder of our lighting converted to LED’s. We will then be producing more electricity than we use!
We are also looking to install a grey water system to supply our toilets
Planning Application Submitted
Our Planning Consultants have submitted our application to extend the covered shooting area, install a viewing and social gathering area and a workshop for site maintenance and development.

Club Annual Awards event just weeks away!
We are looking forward to our Annual Awards Ceremony which will include the announcement of some Honorary Life Members, Club Person of the Year and Junior Club Person of the Year. We are pleased to have Mr David Ponton as our Compere for the evening.
One of the features of the event is a video capture of the Club’s achievements for the past 12months, this is an excellent way of celebrating the work of our volunteers and supporters. We will share this video on a blog after the event.
