Our Annual Flight Club Darts Competition was a great success!
An adults only evening saw more than 20 members compete for 2 hours across a range of challenges.

2 active dart boards – automatic scoring!
Great fun & healthy banter!

The top 3 places taken by:
1st Darren, 2nd Dan and joint 3rd was Kevin and Richard.

Darren wins the trophy!

Annual Festive Field Shoot
Saw the biggest ever attendance with over 40 members competing!

All ages, all abilities.
Two courses to choose from, ensuring we were able to offer an inclusive option. Hopefully the photos capture the fun had by all!

Not easy to hit so worth celebrating!

Radio Controlled Car Racing – more like a demolition derby!
Well attended afternoon held in the Clubhouse. Amazing fun, great skill but with some significant rebuilding to do for the next event!
Upcoming annual social events are the Family Games Evening (23rd Jan), always fully booked, Lasertag (1st March) and Glow Shoot (20th March).
Stage 1 of our Extension Projected completed at last!
2 months late but the final product is just what we wanted, the physical build has been completed!

However this project was more than just new buildings, it was about us providing facilities to deliver better experiences, so the opportunities to do that start now!
The 50% increase in floodlit shooting facilities is up and running, including a 14 target floodlit Stafford tournament planned for March!

Just a section of our floodlit covered area.
The new home for the Men-in-Sheds Team is operating. We have been fortunate enough to have attracted a substantial grant from the ‘Thriving Communities’ Fund run by Gloucestershire County Council to help us develop our volunteer programmes!

A hive of industry!
The social gathering area is awaiting some additional furniture but is fast taking shape.

Needs to be fitted out but will be invaluable to supporters, careers and volunteers.
The new Equipment Laboratory has been established and will be fully equipped soon, we are already feeling a positive impact with Club arrows looking in better condition than in recent times.

Dedicated area for maintenance.
Again the Well-being area is nearing completion, just waiting for some furnishings to arrive, completion of the kitchen area and some themed decor.

Some refinements needed to complete the area.
The Tournament Control Office has also been refurbished and is now operational.

Tournament Control complete with look out!
Much of the background work goes unnoticed but is often critical to the completion of the facility! Ensuring building Regs requirements are signed off, appropriate fire and security systems installed, electrical checks completed, risk assessments approved, snagging completed, the list is endless. Thank you to all our volunteers.
Our next big project starts later this month!
Environmental Stewardship – Big order!
As part of our recycling initiative our Men-in-Sheds Volunteers are currently making a large number of Tawny Owl, Hedgehog and general bird boxes for a local business who are going to install them in their grounds.

All boxes being made from recycled materials.
We grew a number of hedgerow and general tree saplings last year, they are now ready to be planted out.
