A lovely sunny day at Deer Park Archers for the first County Field Championships in many years. This is our first big organised field shoot and we were hopeful of putting on a good course for everyone. Looks like we didn’t disappoint as we have received lots of complements, positive feedback and suggestions on ways to improve even more in the future. We would like to thank all the fantastic archers for their support and help on the day. Everyone seemed to enjoy the shoot and we hope to see many of you back in the future.
A BIG THANKS has go out to our judges, field crew, catering team and everyone who has helped us along the way. Getting a field course ready is not a quick task! Today was proof that all that hard (and ongoing) work is worth it, especially when we get such great feedback. Onward now to bigger and better field tournaments in the future. Watch this space; we’ve only just started.
