Development Centre Assessment Afternoon – 14th October
More than 30 of our juniors and 8 coaches will be meeting this Sunday afternoon (after the morning open practice session) at Balcarras to work together to develop personal action plans and to identify which group workshops and seminars we need to prioritise.

Archery GB Talent Selection Process
Well done to Ciaran, Austin & Lucy for being invited back to Phase 2 of the programme! All those junior members that chose not to submit work logs will be supported by our Development Centre to work at the pace they have chosen to work at, with their allocated coaches.

Club Coach Meeting – 24th October
Steph & Dan will be delivering a feedback/discussion workshop to club coaches. Coaches from Cheltenham & Wales Archery are also being invited, following last weekend’s highly successful Performance Unit CPD Programme. The feedback from the weekend’s participants was excellent, well done to everyone at Archery GB that organized the event!
Another National Record for Lucy!
Lucy completed a great summer of shooting on Sunday with another National Record, this time beating it by 2 points at Meriden. Difficult to keep count but think this is her 11th National Record this summer!

Disability Archery Consultation – 10th October at Lilleshall
Dave Sandles and Roger Crang attended this Consultation which focused on the strengths & weaknesses of the current system and identified priorities for improvements to support disabled archers. This will hopefully contribute to Archery GB’s strategy for Disabled Archery. In addition to contributing to the discussions, Dave and Roger made some excellent contacts and certainly learnt a lot.
Dave & Chloe are both at Stoke Mandeville this weekend.

County Junior Squad Development Programme 2012/13

Club Community Programmes – Volunteers wanted!
22nd October – ‘Looked after Children’ ( 5 – 18 year olds). We are providing a free have-a-go facility. We will also be using Arrows, the adapted kit. Will be at GL1 Recreation Centre. Help needed from 10 – 12.
3rd November – ‘Inspire a Generation’ Event at Leisure@ Recreation Centre organized by Cheltenham Borough Council. Help needed for all or part of the event from 10:30am – 3pm.
