Lots happening despite the weather!

Supporting our Community

On the Thursday we hosted 6 teams of GirlGuides for a fun evening of team and individual challenges, supported by a group of our coaches.

The following day saw 13 visiting Primary School Teams of 9 archers, from the Gloucester District, programmed in across the day to record Level 2 qualification scores. The weather was so bad, they shot from the covered shooting area throughout the day ensuring that the event remained on and was a positive experience!

A couple of days later we hosted a have-a-go session from a local rambling club, this time our indoor area came to the rescue as the weather was again rubbish!

2 Day 3D Field Archery Tournament – A fantastic success!

The weekend saw our first 2 Day event take place on our wonderfully prepared course. Credit to our team of field crew and catering volunteers who have worked so hard before and during the event led by Liz and John Dalton.

Lots of variety and plenty of challenge!

County Senior & Junior Championships

We are hosting this Record Status 1440 and Metrics event at the end of the month, the county made the decision to change the date, it seems to have worked, we are almost full! Years since we could say that!

Beginners Courses

Our Training Centre rescued us again on Monday evening when very wet and blustery weather again forced us indoors, all 25 candidates concentrated on developing their skills and not on survival!
