What a month for Lucy!
Last month it was Martin Hutchings Longbow who was the Member of the Month, who as predicted went on to make his debut for the County Team and recorded a good score, he also went on to win a couple of other events including devastating the opposition at the Cheltenham Archers 2-Way Western.
The good news is that there has been some really good performances by junior & senior members during September and this month it has been a particularly difficult choice but it has to be Lucy Mason.
Amongst her achievements, Lucy won the Junior County Championships, got another National Record to add to her collection and became Regional Junior Champion.
She represented both the Junior & Senior County Teams this month, at the age of just 12! Shooting a Hereford, for the first time she recorded 1082.
Lucy achievements have stretched across the year, breaking numerous National Records and she has been nominated for the second year running for the Gloucestershire Media Awards ‘Young Sportwoman of the Year’.
Lucy also helps at an after-school club and attends practice regularly. Steph is her coach and she also receives great support from her Steve, her Dad. Well done Lucy.
