Club Annual Awards Evening and Beetle Drive – Reserve your places NOW.
Friday 7th December at Hatherley & Reddings Cricket Club.
Entry is free, Includes beetle drive with excellent prizes, food etc. There will be a raffle on the evening.
This is a family celebration of our club, so bring all the family and we would also encourage those who have recently joined the club to come along with your family, meet the other members and see what we have achieved during 2012.

UK Barebow Championships – Great results for Hamish & Ciaran!!
All UK Barebow archers went to one of seven centres around the country yesterday and these are the results

In the men’s tournament Kevin finished 76th – though he struggled through the last 18 arrows with a back injury.

GAS AGM
Both the County Coaching Group AGM in the morning and the County AGM in the afternoon were well attended.
We shared our Fitness & Conditioning Programme with the coaches from other clubs, see the following links for short video clips.

Steph stood down as County Coaching Officer but was re-elected as part of a County Coaching Committee to run the coaching activities.
There were 5 Annual Awards made by the County to individual archers/clubs, we managed to win 2 of them, these will be announced at the Club Awards Evening!
Equipment Maintenance Workshop
My apologies the last ‘post’ gave the wrong date for the workshop it is Monday 3rd December at Deer Park. New members are encouraged to come along as are existing members who want to know more. Let Dan/Steph know if you are going to attend.
Sports Psychology Session
Great session on Saturday morning, thanks to all the juniors and parents that attended the workshop. The introduction to the workshop highlighted that we need to do more in this area. It was suggested that archery is 10% physical, 90% mental, we provide support and practice that is 90%+ physical and less than 10% mental! Perhaps we need to improve the balance of what we do?
